Our Class Information

Infants & Toddlers Class

Children must be six weeks of age. Our goal for the Infant and Toddler class is to begin the foundation they will need to be successful in preschool, to separate from mommy and daddy easily, be introduced to group activities and to have fun and be happy. The child to caregiver ration is 8 to 2.

Young Twos Class

For children turning 2 during the school year. Our goal for the Young Twos students is to begin the foundation they will need to be successful in preschool, to separate from mommy and daddy easily, be introduced to group activities and to have fun and be happy. The student to teacher ratio is 12 to 2.

Twos Classes

Our goal at NPPK is for two year old students to learn to play cooperatively and to become increasingly self-sufficient as they become separated from their parent(s) for increasing amounts of time and developing a positive self-esteem. All twos classes will have Spanish, Music/Movement, Science, Letters Alive Lab and Cooperative Learning weekly. The twos also attend Chapel monthly.  All twos have a 12:2 student teacher ratio.

Threes Classes

Our goal at NPPK for 3 year old students is for children to learn to become independent and to cooperate with both adults and peers in a classroom environment and to develop a love for learning that will be the building block for all future education. All Threes Classes will have Spanish, Music/Movement, Science, Letters Alive Lab and Cooperative Learning weekly. They will also attend Chapel once a month. The student-teacher ratio is 14:2.

Fours Classes

Our goal for the 4 year old students is to be confident students with an excitement about learning that will be the foundation for success in primary school and beyond. The student-teacher ratio is 16:2.

Sally Bowen Kindergarten Class

Children must be five by September 1st. Children will bring a sack lunch daily. Our goal at NPPK for the kindergarten class is to solidify and expand upon the basics they have learned in Pre-K to ensure a successful, confident student that is ready to read and write. The student teacher ratio is 16:2.

Fours Classes

Our goal for the 4 year old students is to be confident students with an excitement about learning that will be the foundation for success in primary school and beyond. The student-teacher ratio is 16:2.

Sally Bowen Kindergarten Class

Children must be five by September 1st. Children will bring a sack lunch daily. Our goal at NPPK for the kindergarten class is to solidify and expand upon the basics they have learned in Pre-K to ensure a successful, confident student that is ready to read and write. The student teacher ratio is 16:2.

1st Grade Class

Children must be six by September 1st. Children will bring a sack lunch daily.  The student teacher ratio is 16:2.

Science Class

Children aged 2 - 1st grade go to science class each week where they explore the world through stories, projects and experiments.

Letters Alive Lab

Children aged 2 - 1st grade go to Letters Alive lab each week. This is a new computer based  curriculum that brings language arts to life through new interactive technology.

Curriculum: Letters alive™

Chapel

Children aged 2 - 1st grade attend chapel monthly.  The children learn about God in a interactive way through songs, illustrations and stories.

Lunch Bunch

Lunch Bunch is available to all students with dismissal time is 12:00, for a fee of $5.00 per day. Your child must bring his/her own lunch and drink for lunch bunch.  It is not necessary to make a reservation for lunch bunch.
